  1. Booking

1.1 Our booking terms form part of our contract with you and are legally binding so please read them carefully.

1.2 The individual who makes the booking is responsible for providing all the correct details of the other members of their party.

1.3 The individual who makes the booking is responsible for ensuring all payments are made in full.

1.4 The individual who makes the booking is responsible for advising us if there are any changes or someone cannot attend. 

  1. Payment and Fees

2.1 In order to make a booking, you must pay the total price of your ticket.

2.2 We do not currently offer payment plans for ticket booking. The full amount must be paid at checkout. 

2.3 By entering your payment details, you confirm that the payment details belong to you. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to authorisation by the card issuer and validation checks.

2.4 Orders are accepted subject to the payment being received from the card issuer. If the payment does not go through, House of Nectar reserves the right to cancel your order.

  1. Bank Charges

3.1 House of Nectar cannot be held liable for any additional charges applied by your bank or credit card supplier. These charges are completely out of our control.

  1. External website links

4.1 Although we try to ensure high quality and safety when inserting external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links.

4.2 House of Nectar cannot guarantee the contents, safety and quality of any external links provided therefore please note that you click on the links at your own risk and House of Nectar cannot be held liable for any implications or damage caused by clicking any external links mentioned.

  1. E-Tickets

5.1 After purchasing your ticket(s), you will be sent an e-ticket via the email you have provided. Each ticket issued has a unique barcode that allows the entry of one person.

5.2 To enter the event, you must be able to show the e-ticket for every person entering. Failure to show your e-ticket on the door will result in refused entry and you will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind

  1. Ticket usage

6.1 By buying a ticket to an event held by House of Nectar you agree that the tickets you buy are for personal use by you and your party only.

  1. Ticket allowance and Resale

7.1 We do not have a ticket allowance per person. However, by buying multiple tickets, you are agreeing that these tickets are for personal use of your party and not for resale. 

7.2 In the event that multiple tickets are bought for resale or not for your preorganised and agreed group, House of Nectar reserves the right to cancel all tickets and you will not be eligible for any kind of refund.

  1. Age restrictions

8.1 You must be 18 or over on the date of the event.

8.2 Anybody who buys a ticket/comes to the event who is not 18 or over on the date of the event will be refused entry. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

  1. Access

9.1 Only valid ticket holders are eligible to access the events.

9.2 You must access the building via the entrance stated on your ticket.

9.3 You must be at the venue at your allotted time. You are not permitted to enter the venue before the time stated on your ticket. Arriving late may result in you/your party missing out on activities or entertainment planned for your group and potentially being refused entry.

9.4 Arriving after the set last entry time may lead to you not being permitted into the building. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind in the event of late arrival.

9.5 Upon entry into the building, a bag-search will be carried out. Not complying with our security team carrying out the search may lead to your removal from the site and you will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

9.6 You must supply your ticket when asked to by one of our team members. This can be downloaded on your phone or printed.

9.7 If you turn up at the event without a ticket to show, you will immediately be removed from the premises.

  1. Failure to Attend the Event

10.1 Failure to attend the event for any reason will not result in you being eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

  1. Prohibited Items

11.1 For the safety of all guests, there are items in which you are not permitted to bring to the event.

11.2 These include but are not limited to:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Self-defence devices (pepper spray, brass knuckles)
  • Illegal substance such as marijuana
  • Any weapons including knives, guns or ammunition of any kind
  • Objects that appear to be weapons of any kind that do not comply with standard LARP rules e.g. foam weapons only
  • Loud noise makers such as megaphones or horns
  • Explosives, gas, powders, or flammables 
  • Any item that could cause damage or harm to person or venue
  • Any bag larger than A4 (medical exemptions can be applied however this must be established before the event)
  • Laser devices
  • Selfie sticks
  • Professional photography equipment – standard mobile phones are permitted for photography purposes
  • Candles
  • Medication that is not recognisable or not accompanied by a doctor’s note
  • Umbrellas over 1 meter
  • Unidentifiable substances
  • Promotional equipment for any other business or organisation
  • Items detrimental to the success of the event and or House of Nectar as a business

11.3 If any of these items (or anything that poses risk to our staff and guests or venue) are found in your possession, they will be confiscated by our security team and may not be returned, and you will be asked to leave the event. In this case, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind. 

  1. Smoking

12.1 Smoking is not permitted in any parts of the building or outside the property including the front porch.

12.2 Anybody found smoking in any part of the building will be instantly removed. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

  1. Fire

13.1 In the event of an emergency evacuation, all instructions given by the security, operations manager, venue or event organiser must be obeyed immediately. 

13.2 There are emergency exit instructions on the walls around the building. Please familiarize yourself with these at the beginning of the night.

  1. Equipment, Furniture, Decoration

14.1 Great care must be taken by all guests to ensure that all equipment, furniture, and decoration are not damaged in any way. Venues may contain historical artefacts which in the event of damage, you may be liable to financially compensate for or replace. 

14.2 No building object, furniture, equipment or decoration should be moved or touched.

14.3 If there are any breakages or damage to anything within the building, you are to tell a member of staff immediately and provide your details for any follow up replacement or financial compensation.

14.4 Any spillages must be reported to a member of staff immediately.

14.5 Breakages, damages or spillages could result in a fine.

14.6 Any behaviour that poses threat to any equipment, furniture or decoration in the building will result in immediate removal from the premises. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

  1. Food & Drink

15.1 No external food and drink are permitted to the site.

15.2 House of Nectar are not liable for any sickness or complications you receive as a result of the food & drink served.

15.3 Alcohol can be served to guests who are aged 18 or over – which by booking you confirm you are. 

15.4 Guests must show a photo ID proving their age in order to be served alcohol.

15.5 Guests who are found drinking excessive alcohol will be removed from the premises immediately. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

15.6 Anybody found to be in possession of a false identification document will be dealt with in the following ways:

  • Confiscation of the false ID.
  • Immediate removal from the site.
  • Will be dealt with by the authorities.
  • You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.
  1. Health and Safety

16.1 You must comply at all times with all health and safety requirements House of Nectar and the venue.

16.2 Any behaviour that poses threat to our guests and staff’s health will result in your immediate removal from the premises. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

16.3 Before attending the event, please ensure you are well and are not a danger to anybody’s health and safety. For example, if you have a communicable disease, please do not attend the event. In this case, it may be possible to transfer your ticket to someone in our waitlist but this, nor your refund, is guaranteed. 

16.4 By agreeing to these terms are conditions, you agree to abide by the UK Government’s Covid-19 and general health guidelines.

16.5 If you are an international guest, you must abide by the UK Government’s rules and guidelines regarding travel. This includes but is not limited to travel bans (please see 13.1) and quarantine periods prior/after entering the UK. If you misjudge the length of your quarantine period resulting in you being unable to attend the event, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind.

16.6 If any guest or member of staff is made to feel that their safety is in jeopardy due to you or your party, you may be removed from the premises and authorities may be involved. You will not be eligible for a ticket refund of any kind.

16.7 If you leave the venue at any time during the event, you may be refused entry back into the venue. If entrance is permitted, you will have to provide your ticket for inspection and may be subject to a bag and body search.

  1. Special Requests and Medical Problems

17.1 If you have any special requests, you must advise us prior to or during booking. We cannot guarantee that any request will be met.

17.2 If you or any member of your party has any medical problems or disabilities that may require assistance, please advise us prior to booking. If you are diagnosed after you confirm your booking, please advise us as soon as you become aware. If House of Nectar reasonably feel we are unable to accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned due to health and safety concerns, we reserve the right to decline the booking.

  1. Postponement of Event

18.1 In the case that the event cannot go ahead on the planned date, the event will be postponed.

18.2 Your ticket will be valid for the date that the event has been moved to.

18.3 You are not eligible for a ticket refund of any kind if the event is postponed.

18.4 By accepting these terms & conditions you acknowledge that the event may not go ahead on the planned date due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to anything to do with the Covid-19 disease, a National Day of Mourning, venue or entertainment cancellation, limited ticket sales, poor weather conditions or Force Majeure. 

  1. Cancellation

19.1 If the event is cancelled (not postponed) by House of Nectar for any reason you may be eligible for a ticket refund, however this is not guaranteed. 

19.2 It is your responsibility to check that event is still going ahead and the original time and location. If, for any reason, the event does not go ahead, House of Nectar is not responsible for any incurred costs of transport or accommodation that you have organised or are liable for.  

 

  1. Refunds

20.1 House of Nectar reserve the rights to deny all refund requests. Due to the nature of our events, refunds will only be dispersed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be given to our international guests if there is a travel ban put in place by the government. All guests MUST abide by the relevant government guidelines when it comes to quarantine and health and safety rules etc. If any guests are found to have broken these rules, then they will be banned from the event, not refunded, and dealt with by authorities. You will not be refunded if you are banned from the event (either prior or during).

20.2 If you would like to enquire about a refund, please email hello@houseofnectar.com with your personal and ticket details. 

  1. Material Change or Non-Performance 

21.1 If, for any reason, there is a material change to the event itinerary, and the event is not postponed or cancelled, House of Nectar will determine whether you are eligible for a partial refund. However, this is not guaranteed. 

21.2 In the event that a material change does occur, and consequently you decide not to attend the event, you are not eligible for a refund of any kind. 

  1. Injury or Accidental Harm

22.1 House of Nectar is not liable for any injury or accidental harm that occurs when at, or anything in relation to, our events. By booking, you confirm that if an injury or accidental harm does occur during an event, House of Nectar is not responsible or liable, whatever the cause and severity of the damage or harm. 

22.2 In the event of injury to violence, for example but not limited to – terrorism, domestic abuse or confrontation, House of Nectar is not liable and measures will be taken at the time to reduce harm where possible. However, in the event that harm or injury does still occur, House of Nectar is not liable for any damages. 

  1. Complaints

23.1 If you have any complaints to make prior, during or following the event, please email hello@houseofnectar.com  

23.2 Alternatively, if you have any complaints or problems during the event, you can report this to a House of Nectar team member.

23.3 Lodging a complaint post, prior or during the event does not make you eligible for a refund of any kind.
